Reactive Blue GG - Introduction

Reactive Blue 203 (also known as activated carbon GG) is a common adsorbent with many unique properties. The following is an introduction to the nature, use, preparation and safety information of activated carbon GG:

Nature:
1. Appearance: Activated Carbon GG is usually black powder;
2. Pore structure: highly developed pore structure, including micropores and mesopores, is conducive to the adsorption of molecules;
3. Adsorption performance: Activated Carbon GG can adsorb a variety of organic matter, dissolved gases and metal ions, etc;
4. Chemical stability: It has good chemical stability and is not easy to decompose under regular conditions;
5. Thermal stability: It can maintain good stability at high temperature.

Use:
1. Purify water and air: Activated carbon GG is widely used in the field of water treatment and air purification, which can effectively remove heavy metals, organic pollutants and peculiar smell in water;
2. Pharmaceutical Industry: used for drug purification, decolorization and removal of impurities;
3. Oral cleaning: often as a component of toothpaste and mouthwash, it can absorb and remove halitosis substances in the mouth;
4. Food processing: for the removal and purification of pigment in food.

Method:
The preparation method of activated carbon GG is more complicated, generally including the following steps:
1. Selection of raw materials: Choose raw materials rich in organic matter, such as birch, pine, carbonized coconut shell, etc;
2. Carbonization: the raw material is carbonized, that is, after high temperature smelting and firing process, impurities are removed to form carbide;
3. Activation: with oxygen, water vapor or chemical reagents to activate the carbide, so that it has a developed pore structure and adsorption properties;
4. Washing and drying: Remove residual substances through washing and drying steps to obtain pure activated carbon GG.

Safety Information:
Under normal use conditions, activated carbon GG is relatively safe, but the following matters still need to be paid attention:
1. Avoid inhalation: avoid inhaling powdered activated carbon GG for a long time to avoid irritation to the respiratory tract;
2. Prevent Contact: Avoid direct contact with activated carbon GG powder to avoid irritation and allergic reactions to the skin;
3. Storage Note: Avoid contact with combustible substances during storage to prevent fire;
4. Use Guide: in accordance with the guidelines provided by the manufacturer to use the correct use of activated carbon GG, can not be abused.
